Pastoral Counsel

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom." Colossians 3:16

Pastoral counsel for men and couples who want to walk faithfully with Christ — in marriage, temptation, work, and the ordinary weight of life. Talk with someone to help you in these struggles using God's Word as the foundation.

The work itself

Clear about what this is — and what it isn't.

Knowing the difference up front lets you decide, with your eyes open, whether this is the right kind of help for what you're carrying.

Pastoral counsel is Spiritual care

Pastoral counsel is grounded in Scriptures. Sessions are built around honest discussion, instruction, encouragement, prayer, and the patient application of biblical principles to the concerns you bring.

The aim is spiritual growth — Scripture meeting you where you live, offered from an explicitly Christian perspective, with the Word of God as the foundation.

And what it isn't Read carefully

This is not treatment from a Licensed Professional Counselor, psychologist, psychiatrist, clinical social worker, or marriage-and-family therapist, and these sessions are not psychotherapy, diagnosis, or medical care.

Pastoral counsel does not replace clinical or medical treatment. When a concern calls for a licensed professional or physician, you'll be told plainly and pointed toward the right care.

James has spent 15 years in full-time pastoral ministry walking alongside adults, young adults, couples, and teens through grief, conflict, doubt, and the ordinary weight of life. The posture here is the same: steady, patient, and rooted in Scripture.
